Looking for a family activity to enjoy on a rainy day? How about making your own hummus? After all, it is one of the healthiest protein sources on earth.
Here is what you will need to do:
Step 1: Purchase LIOR Tahini and Chickpeas (these products are made/packaged in Israel and are sold at Fairway)
Step 2: Soak the chickpeas beans in cold water overnight (use the entire package)
Step 3: Cook the chickpeas beans in a large pot on a small flame for 5 hours or until completely soft
Step 4: Combine the cooked chickpeas, the remaining water (approximately 1-1.5 cups), the entire content of the tahini container, 3 spoons of olive oil, 2-3 heads of garlic and 1/4 cup of  fresh parsley in a food processor, and blend the ingredients until a smooth, thick texture is obtained
Step 5: Add salt, pepper, paprika, lemon/lime juice according to your taste
Step 6: When serving the hummus, decorate with sesame/black sesame seeds and paprika
Step 7: Enjoy!
